In John 5:1-4 we find that near the pool of Bethesda were a great number of people with different diseases: some unable to see, some without the power of walking, some with wasted bodies, waiting for the angel to come and move the water. For whosoever then first after the moving of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
They all had their eyes on the angel and on the water. Nobody there probably had the knowledge of the Messiah. Yet Jesus came there and had compassion on the paralyzed man who was waiting for his miracle for 38 years. Jesus knew that this man was lying there for a long time and healed him completely.
Our Lord is a Lord of compassion. If your eyes have not been on Him continually, then from now on turn to Him and keep looking to Him. Imagine when Jesus willingly healed the paralyzed man who had nothing to do with Him, how much more He will do for them who put their trust Him and keep their eyes on Him!
The Bible says in Ps 34:5 “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” In Isa 45:22 the Lord says, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”
“……Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;……” Heb.12:1, 2
“For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness” Ps 18:27, 28
God bless you!

The first thing I want you to know is that our God is a ‘Blesser God’. Everything about God is: He is a Great Giver, He gives Himself.
