Do not be Anxious

Lu 11:9-11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Emphasis added)

Mt 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (Emphasis added)

Luke says, “Holy Spirit” and Mathew says, “Good things.” Scriptures interpret Scriptures. So here the good things that truly benefit us is the Holy Spirit in all His fullness.

A prayer keeping the Father’s day in mind:
My All-Wise and Loving Heaven Father, please fill me with the fullness of your Holy Spirit resulting in the opening of my spiritual eyes that I may see Jesus, know Him, love Him and be transformed into His likeness. Make me a channel of your unconditional love to others….in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Believe that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you. Worship Him!!

Then what about your earthly and temporary needs?

“…………your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Mt. 6:32, 33)

You will not be anxious about anything, all your needs will be met in a way that will glorify God.
