No matter how hard we strive to lead a Christ-like, God pleasing life, we will still fall short of Christ-likeness.
Believe – continue in His Word – be His disciple – know the truth – free from sin totally – sonship.
The first verse of Ephesians chapter 2 says, “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins”. And the last verse of the same chapter says that you also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.
Ezekiel says that when he was among the captives/exiles, the heavens opened for him and he saw visions of God and visions of heaven. (Eze 1:1)
The central message of John the Baptist was: The One coming after me is greater than me. Someone more powerful than I will come after me. I am unworthy to stoop down and untie the strap of His sandals.I have baptized you with water but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
Intimacy with God does not come by just feeling the presence of God, or by following some religious activity.Intimacy with God comes, only by hearing God and obeying Him on everyday basis.
Lu 11:9-11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
In John 5:1-4 we find that near the pool of Bethesda were a great number of people with different diseases: some unable to see, some without the power of walking, some with wasted bodies, waiting for the angel to come and move the water.
Mt 15:33-37 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
